Well the modular smartphones haven’t died yet, a few days ago we saw Andy Rubin the guy who bought us the Android launched his first phone known as the Essential phone, which supports the concept of modularity by having a magnetic 360 degree camera which attaches to the phone and also a charging dock! Well today the launch of Moto Z2 play one of the flagship devices that Motorola manufacturers and we all know the Eye catching feature of Moto’s Z series are the Moto mods, which connect through the magnetic connectors. Today the upgradation of Mods took place, JBL soundboost 2, Turbo powerpack, Moto Style shells, and new wireless charging which was not present in Moto Z play, and introducing the new Gamepad.
Moto Z2 play is more thinner than that of Moto Z Play, which results into decreasing the size of battery which was 3510mAh, cutting it down to 3000mAh battery. Which is still okay but considering the 5.5” display doesn’t look that good!
