All about the Infinix Note 4!

The Infinix Note 4

With many Chinese players trying to enter the Indian market due to its large reach, Infinix is a brand that has got some attention here with the Infinix Note 4. How did a new Chinese player in the competition get such a buzz ? Let’s find out. Here’s our over view of the Infinix Note 4.

The Hong-Kong based manufacturer entered India with an aggressive price tag of 8999/- the Infinix Note 4 has some promising things to offer on.

It has a 5.7″ Full HD 1080p IPS LCD display.
In short, a FHD panel with 2.5D curved glass on top of it. Gives a premium finish to the phone in the front. The Infinix Note 4 has a plastic body design with a removable back cover. But the battery is non-removable. It’s a massive 4300mAh battery, the largest in its price segment. Well, if you are worried that the phone would take an era to charge that massive battery, Infinix has taken care of it for it’s customers. The supplied 9V-2A or 18W charger claims to charge the phone from 0-45% in just 30 minutes. That’s whopping Fast! We would surely test this out.

The Camera duties are handled by 13MP camera to the rear, with Dual Tone flash. And a sensor size of 1.14um. The front facing camera is an 8MP module, and the phone has several beautification modes.

The Infinix Note 4 has a fingerprint scanner built-in to the Home Button. They claim to unlock the phone in 0.15s. That’s something again we would like to test.

But…

All this is managed by the MediaTek MTK6753 Chip which is surely not latest in the market. But Infinix claims that their New XOS 2.2 manages to get good performance. We are little worried as the display resolution is 1080p and the 6753 would fall short of some potential, so gaming should not be something at which this phone is being targeted at. But still, seems a fair deal for the fast charging, battery and camera provided. The phone runs Android 7.0 and has support for Nougat features like Multi-window and quick switch.

The phone comes with 16GB of storage coupled with 2GB of RAM. 16 might seem less in 2017 but that’s what Infinix has decided to do here.

Well, what do we feel about the Infinix Note 4 ?
Considering the competition, the processor seems dated, but still with the amazing battery and charging that the Infinix Note 4 provides, that makes it stand apart from other phones in this price range.

The phone will be sold at Flipkart. Buy here.

Crisp and bright screen front flash picture in picture dual window feature single hand mode compass absolutely great speakers n lots more. I am using this phone for 3 months now better than MI 4 4gb. Which is also in my family.
