Moto C Lauched at 5999/- in India | Should you pick?

Moto is always being a competitive brand, either it is a mid-ranger or flagship. Now, Moto has announced the Moto C, a budget smartphone. This smartphone has previously unveiled in Europe but now, it has arrived in India. This smartphone aims to target mainly offline markets and probably it will be sold online too.
We have usually seen Moto going with Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets instead of MediaTek ones (Moto M). This time Moto has gone with a Mediatek MT6737M quad-core processor clocked at 1.1GHz coupled with Mali-T720 GPU. It has 1GB RAM and 16GB of Internal Storage, polycarbonate build (seems metal at a glance). It’s a 5-inch panel with a resolution of 854×480 (FWVGA). Moto doesn’t skip a dedicated micro-sd card slot from which you can expand the storage up to 32GB and can use 2 Sim-cards simultaneously.

It has Bluetooth 4.2, FM Radio, 3.5mm jack, Micro-USB 2.0 port at the top and a removable back panel.
The Rear camera is 5MP and the front one is of 2MP, this time Moto has included LED flash for both the cameras to capture good photos in low light too! There is 2,350mAh Battery powering all the specs and this device has no fingerprint scanner at all.

This device supports 4G VoLTE(which means using Jio sim-cards is not an issue here) and has an almost stock UI with some Moto’s own tweaks. This device comes with Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box and does support Google Assistant.
The power button and Volume Rockers are located to the right and both and the speaker grills are on the back this time. All this weighs 154 Grams.

On paper, these specs don’t seem great and it seems like Moto is trying to capture offline markets here. Online, there are much better alternatives available like the Redmi 4A and Redmi 4 around that budget that comes with Snapdragon SoC’s, more RAM and higher resolution but they are sold via flash sales, so it is hard to get them.
