We all love the budgeted smartphones, and if those budget smartphones pack a ton of great internals then it just turns out a steal! Which is what OnePlus have been known for doing, producing of best budget smartphones with all the flagship components. With the launch of their latest flagship OnePlus 5 right around the corner, there have been official leaks of what it is going to look like and its design and it is packed with, but the pricing was a bit unclear.
A new rumor suggests OnePlus 5 will cost about 32,999 INR ( $510) in India, and it is good pricing according to the specifications it offers but it will not be very affordable anymore as it is near to $500 mark now. It is expected to have an octa-core chip clocked at 2.35GHz, 2 variants one with 6GB Ram and 64GB storage and other with 8GB RAM with 128GB storage which will cost you Rs 37,999. OnePlus 5 will be packed with Snapdragon 835 processor, coming to the design look pretty similar to OPPO R11 and iPhone 7+, the dual camera setup and the antenna bands and the overall build of the phone. The camera suggests to be a telephoto lens or bokeh lens that we have in iPhone 7+.
When these similar specs are compared to a phone like HTC U11 or that S8 which all costs like above 700$, this phone seems a bang for the buck category. The pricing of OnePlus phones has kept on increasing exponentially every year with the release of their new phones. OnePlus 3 came in at 28,000INR and OnePlus 3T came in at 30,000INR and by that logic, the pricing of OnePlus 5 seems to retail for about 33,000INR which seems A-OK.
The Worldwide keynote of the launch of OnePlus 5 is on June 20th and in India, it is on June 22nd we’ll have to wait to see what OnePlus are cooking!
